Synopsis: The plan to burn Cao Cao's fleet is hindered by the direction of the wind across the country. In order to perfectly carry out the plan, the wind has to change direction. Zhuge Liang has prepared the rites to perform this ritual, so that we may defeat Cao Cao's navy.
Possible teams:
Combat team: Any main, druid, oracle, odysseus (beast's soul, seth will, shield bash)
AOE team: Staff main, witch, oracle, elementalist/odysseus/guan yu/sheriff/ranged
Additional requirements:
Purification scroll/ Freezing scroll
Net trap (whichever grade you are comfortable with)
Walkthrough: This mission requires you to defend Zhuge Liang all the way till the boss Jiang Gan appears (killing him will end this misery). The easier way to do so is to delay (meaning move your last move on the last second). However, do not do so before reaching him. Delay only when you are next to him.
This guide will refer to North, South, East, West. South= your base.
In any case, bring a catapult with you no matter what team you are playing. Before going to meet Zhuge Liang, head west to find a miniboss already standing there. Kill him in whichever way you play (my team is to shield bash, beast's soul seth will catapult and wack him down), then run back to Zhuge Liang at the middle of the map. On the first cutscene, there will be mobs incoming from West. Allied troops will constantly pour out to help you fight West and North, and also covers South in the meantime. ALWAYS DELAY from now on. At some point, mobs will also appear at North, so you have to divert attention between the 2 lanes constantly. Use traps where necessary. If Zhuge Liang is hit by the mob and is on fire (especially if there's the archer's arrow cascade), use a purification or freezing scroll to remove the flames (note purifying will also remove beast's soul/seth's will). East mobs will only arrive once at around the second to third cutscene. Finally on the fourth cutscene, where Zhuge Liang will mention something like "Give us mercy... etc etc", Jiang Gan and a large group will appear from East. Engage Jiang Gan and give him all you've got. Once he's down, the mission is over...
